On the right toolbar is a search engine for IB History.
Includes links to scholarly journals, the National Archives, Library of
Congress, presidential library archives, etc.A search engine works by entering search terms. This search engine is already programmed to only offer search results from educational and academic websites.
Search terms included: Monroe Doctrine; Open Door Policy;
Big Stick Ideology; Roosevelt Corollary; Theodore Roosevelt; Woodrow Wilson;
William Howard Taft; Cuba, Panama Canal; Spanish-American War; “Remember the
Maine;”
Search Skills (just type search terms into the search
engine box and press enter)
1. Searches
work better when you put the search terms in quotes: “Big Stick Ideology”
2. For
JSTOR articles, just type in the search term and the word “JSTOR”
3. For
Google Scholar, just type in the words “Google Scholar”
4. For
Video, click the video option or type the word video along with your search
term
